Administers accident compensation scheme by providing personal injury cover for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand and offers 24-hour no-fault personal accident insurance cover. Responsible for preventing injury, advising the government and for buying health and disability support services to treat, care for and rehabilitate injured people.
