A multi-format ethnographic field documentation collection of sound recordings, still photos, and manuscripts about traditional uses of the mountains in Southern West Virginia's Big Coal River Valley based on the Coal River Folk-life Collection. Interpretive texts outline the social, historical, economic, environmental, and cultural contexts of community life.
